Connect headphones and listen to a
TV programme, connect a camera or
PC and see the pictures on the
screen, or connect a Camcorder and
watch or record your home movies.
Sockets for temporary connection
SPDIF
Digital audio input socket.
L IN – R IN
These sockets are for audio connection (left and
right sound channel respectively) of, for example,
a camera or camcorder.
S-VIDEO
For the connection of, for example, a game consol.
VIDEO IN
This socket is for connection of the video signal of
a camera or camcorder.
PUC
For IR control signals to external equipment.
To always activate these sockets by selecting, for
example, CAMERA on Beo4, you can register the
connected equipment in the CONNECTIONS menu.
The CAMERA source is registered to the AV6 socket
from the factory. For further information, refer to
the chapter 'Register additional video equipment'
on page 30.
PHONES
You can connect stereo headphones to this socket.
To mute the speakers connected to the television,
press the middle of the
button on Beo4. Press
either end of the
button to adjust sound in
the headphones. To restore sound in the speakers,
press the middle of the
button again.
