AIR CONDITIONING
10. Evacuate, charge and check the system.
BLOWER M O TO R SW ITCH
The three-speed (L O -M E D -H I) blower motor switch
is located in the instrum ent panel, just to the left of the ash
tray (Fig. 1 B-41).
R eplacem ent
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the switch retaining screws.
3. Disconnect the wiring harness at the switch and remove
the switch.
4. To install, reverse Steps 1 thru 3 above.
FUSE
The Four Season portion of this system is protected by
a 25 am p fuse in the junction block.
The rear blower high speed circuit is protected by a 20
am p in-line fuse, located between the junction block and the
rear blower motor switch.
C60 SYSTEM-G SERIES
CONDENSER - G Series
R eplacem ent (Fig. IB -4 2 )
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Purge the system of refrigerant.
3. Remove grille, hood lock, and center hood lock support
as an assembly.

4. D isconnect condenser

5. Remove screws attaching left side condenser bracket to
radiator.
6. Remove screws attaching right side condenser bracket
to condenser.
7. Remove condenser from vehicle.
8. Remove left hand bracket from condenser.
9. To install new condenser, reverse steps 3 thru 8 above.
Add 30 ml (1 oz.) of clean refrigeration oil to a new
condenser.
10. Evacuate charge and test the system.
Refer to Fig. 1 B-61 thru 1 B-66 for condenser inlet and
outlet connections, compressor refrigerant line connections,
and general regrigerant line routing and connections.
HEATER AIR DISTRIBUTOR
A N D E XTENSIO N DUCT - G SERIES
R eplacem ent (Fig. IB -4 3 )
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove engine cover.
3. Remove evaporator-blower shield.
4. Remove shield bracket.
5. Remove left floor outlet deflector and bracket.
6. Loosen
reinforcem ent screws. Remove one screw. Torque both
screws on installation.
7. Disconnect speedom eter cable at meter.
