slides down, line up oil sum p with oil intake tube hole (Fig.
ID-63).
11. Holding Support Block J 21352 with one hand,
invert Internal Cylinder and Shaft Assembly and place back
into H olding Fixture J9396 w ith front end of shaft now
facing dow nw ard. Remove Support Block.
12. Install new dowel pins in rear cylinder half, if
previously removed.
13. Install new O-ring in oil pick-up tube cavity.
14. Lubricate Oil Pick-U p Tube with 525 viscosity
refrigerant oil and install into cavity, rotating com pressor
m echanism to align tube w ith hole in shell baffle (Fig. 1D-
64).
15. N ow install new O -ring and bushing on rear-end
of discharge cross-over tube (See Fig. ID-53).
16. Install R ear Suction Reed over dowel pins, w ith slot
tow ards sump.
17. Install R ear D ischarge Valve Plate assembly over
dowel pins, w ith reed retainers U P.
18. Position Inner Oil Pum p G ear over shaft with
previously applied identification m ark UP.
19. Position O uter Oil Pum p G ear over inner gear with
previously applied identification m ark up and, when
standing facing oil sump, position o uter gear so th at it
meshes w ith inner gear at the 9-o'clock position. The
resulting cavity between gear teeth is then at 3-o'clock
position (Fig. ID-65).
20. G enerously oil R ear D ischarge Valve Plate
assembly w ith 525 viscosity refrigerant oil around outer
edge w here large diam eter O -ring will be placed. Oil the
valve reeds, pum p gears, and area w here sealing surface will
contact R ear D ischarge Valve Plate.
