To lower the screen
Turn the height adjustment handle toward you (counter-clockwise motion) to lower the screen. The
minimum height is 69" (175.3 cm) from the floor. Be careful not to lower the unit on top of your
computer.
Adjusting the Volume
Volume adjustments are made for the active display source, and are made independently of other
sources. When you switch to another input source, the settings you made for the first input source
are retained when you switch back.
The default volume level is zero (no sound).
To adjust the volume
1. Press and hold the Volume
sound from the current source.
2. Press and hold the Volume
sound from the current source.
To restore default volume level (no sound)
Press and hold both Volume buttons simultaneously.
Adjusting the Projector Settings
You can make separate brightness and contrast adjustments for each source, and the system will
retain these settings when you switch to another input source. For example, if you increase the
brightness of the display from the VCR, the brightness of the computer display is unaffected.
The default levels of brightness and contrast are set at 50%.
To adjust the image brightness
1. Press and hold the Brightness
image.
2. Press and hold the Brightness
To adjust image contrast
1. Press and hold the Contrast
2. Press and hold the Contrast
To restore default levels of brightness or contrast
Press and hold both Contrast buttons or both Brightness buttons simultaneously.
To fine-tune the projected image
When you make the initial connections, you may need to fine-tune the image. Press the Auto
Adjust button on the projector remote control to automatically optimize the image in RGB mode.
This will eliminate vertical banding, flickering, video noise, dot interference and cross talk.
Changing the Display Source
Press the Display Source button to change the video input source for the internal projector:
choose from the host computer, a connected guest laptop or external computer (X-Port 20 option
only), or a VCR or DVD player.
