Shutting Down the 2000i

Shutting down the 2000i is a simple, two-step procedure:
1. Log off.
Logging off enhances system security. It also gives users a consistent initial interface – the
system logon screen – when they power up the projector lamp.
2. Press the Projector Standby button to put the projector into reversible standby mode for five
minutes.
While the screen appears black, the projector lamp remains on so you can immediately
restore the image if necessary by pressing any button on the Control Panel. After five
minutes, the lamp powers down. The projector reaches full standby in 90 seconds.
OR
Skip the five-minute reversible period: Press and hold the Projector Standby button for a
few seconds until a "Please Wait a Moment" appears on the bottom of the screen. Release
the button and the lamp powers down. The projector reaches full standby mode in 90
seconds.
Standby mode preserves the life of the projector lamp and conserves power. See Turning the
Projector Lamp On and Off (on the next page) for more details.
Perform this procedure at the end of a meeting or presentation and at the end of the day. If you
prefer, you can also shut down the computer. However, we recommend logging off rather than
shutting down the computer.
To power down the projector (if unused for an extended period)
1. Press the Projector Standby button on the Control Panel.
The LED indicator next to the Projector Standby button blinks rapidly for five minutes
(reversible standby) and slowly for approximately 90 seconds while the lamp powers down.
When the lamp is off, the LED indicator blinks very slowly.
2. Disconnect the unit power cable from the power outlet.

Adjusting the Height of the Interactive Whiteboard

It's easy to raise or lower the interactive whiteboard to accommodate users of different heights,
even while the system is operation, so anyone can comfortably touch or write on the screen. The
2000i has a height adjustment range of 14" (35.5 cm), and you can adjust the height of the unit
while it's operating.
