5.4 Rack Mount

The eMG80 can be mounted on a standard 19-inch rack employing the Rack brackets.
Before mounting in the rack, assure that ventilation, space, power and grounding are
sufficient. Figure 5.4-1 depicts rack mounting, use the figure and the steps below to rack
mount the KSUs.
1. Align the rack bracket with the two locating slots on the bottom of the KSU and
attach it to the KSU by moving the bracket in the direction of arrows
2. Assure the bracket is fully engaging then insert and tighten the two (2) screws to
secure the bracket to the KSU.
3. Affix the bracket with the KSU to the rack posts with the four (4) screws provided.
4. Repeat Step 1 through Step 3 for the EKSU. Before installing the mounting the
EKSU, assure the Expansion cable is of sufficient length to connect the KSU and
EKSU. We recommends the space between KSU and EKSU be as wide as possible,
considering the Expansion cable.
