Figure 4-12 shows the drive bay numbering. You should populate the drives in
this order.

Rules for drive installation in the storage tray to ensure proper cooling:
When no a hard drive is not present in slots 0, 1, 2, and 3, a hard drive filler
must be installed to keep the proper air-flow. Slots 4, 5, and six can be empty
When a hard drive fails, it is suggested to keep the failed HDD installed until
replacing with a new hard drive.
Some drive bays can be left empty (without a filler). Only bays 0-3 require
fillers to ensure proper airflow.
Table 4-18 shows the contents of the slots and drive position.
