    FTP write access. v To store the base terminal configuration onto your configuration server, you need to create a new directory on your configuration server (IBM recommends [drive]:\wbt_config). FTP should be able to access this directory.
  • Page 40 Attention: Each time you export your terminal configuration on your configuration server directory, your NetVista thin client overwrites any existing Saveconfig.reg file. IBM recommends that you set up and specify a different directory each time you plan to export a base terminal configuration. Depending on your work, area, or network requirements, you can save different base terminal configurations for different groups of users in your organization.

    Appendix A. Replacing hardware parts Replacing the logic unit IBM replaces a defective logic unit as a complete assembly. To replace a logic unit, the customer must transfer features, such as a memory DIMM, to the replacement unit. If customers do not transfer their features, the replacement units cannot operate properly.
