Note: Before installing a second microprocessor, run the Multiprocessor Upgrade
Option program, provided on the Software Selections CD. For information
about this utility, see addcpu.txt file on the Software Selections CD.
1.
Remove the cover and front bezel. See "Cover removal" on page 24.
2.
Loosen the two screws holding the terminator card or microprocessor. (see
"System board layout" on page 17.) and remove from the microprocessor socket.
3.
Insert the new microprocessor into the guides. Push the microprocessor into the
socket until it is properly seated.
