2-3-32. Cam Gear and GL Driving
1. Removal procedure
1)
Rotate the GL driving arm A block assy in the direction of the
arrow B until it contacts with the conversion gear shaft.
2)
Remove the cam gear 2.
3)
Remove the GL driving arm 3.

2. Attachment procedure
1)
Insert the GL driving arm 3 into the shaft C of the mechanical
chassis and rotate the GL driving arm A block assy in the
direction of the arrow B until it contacts with the conversion
gear shaft.
2)
Confirm the front side and rear side of the cam gear 2 so that
the correct side is selected. Install the cam gear 2 while
matching phase of the v mark D with the second tooth valley
E and the third tooth valley E of the cam gear.
3)
Apply grease to the specified locations of the cam gear.
Points to be noted
• Confirm that the phase of the cam gear and that of the rotary encoder are
matched and in phase.
• Confirm that the cam gear overrides on the GL driving arm.
• Confirm that the GL driving arm is contact with the conversion shaft.
• Do not apply grease to any locations other than the specified location.
Apply grease of the specified amount.
