When you want to access the Web-based management from a remote
site, you must enter the router's WAN IP address into your Web browser
followed by port number 8080. You'll also need to know the password
set in the Password Setting screen to access the router's Web-based
management. (For example, in Figure 5-6, the WAN IP address is 10.0.0.1
and the port number is 8080.)
Click on Apply to save the configurations. You can now configure other advanced
sections or start using the router (with the advanced settings in place).

Type in the host IP address in the Internet that will
have management/configuration access to the Pure
Networking Broadband Router from a remote site. If
you are at home and your home IP address has been
designated as the Remote Management host IP
address for this router (located in your company
office), then you are able to configure this router from
your home. If the host address is left as 0.0.0.0,
anyone can access the router's Web-based
configuration from a remote location if they know the
password.
Clicking on this box enables the remote management
function.
Click on this button to save your changes.
