8. Utility Mode
(8) IP Filtering (Deny Access)
Functions • To set the IP filtering (Deny Access).
Use • When [Enable] is set, select one from Set 1 to Set 5 and specify the range of IP
addresses to be allowed using the 10-key pad.
Setting/ 1. Select Enable or "Disable".
Procedure 2. When [Enable] is set, select one from Set 1 to Set 5 and enter the range of IP
addresses to be denied using the 10-key pad.
3. Touch [OK].
(9) IPv6 Settings
Functions • To set whether to use IPv6 in IP network communication.
• To set whether to use the IPv6 address automatic acquisition setting.
• To set IPv6 addresses.
Use • To use IPv6 in IP network communication.
Setting/ <IPv6 Settings>
Procedure • The default setting is ON.
<Auto IPv6 Settings>
• The default setting is ON.
NOTE
• When the setting is changed, turn off the main power switch and turn it on
again more than 10 seconds after.
<IPv6 address>
• When [Auto IPv6 Settings] is set to OFF, make the settings of global address and
gateway address.
1. Touch [Global Address] or [Gateway Address].
2. Enter the address with the keys on the screen.
3. To change the prefix length of global address, touch [Prefix Length] and specify the
number of bits within the range of 1 to 128.
NOTE
• [Link-Local Address] key appears, but its settings are not allowed to be
changed.
(10) IPsec Settings
Functions • To set whether to use IPsec protocol for IP network communication.
Use • When IPsec protocol is used to perform encrypted communication.
Setting/ • The default setting is OFF.
