Pistons and Connecting Rods
The weight of the connecting rod is identified by a sequence of letters and numbers between the stem and the cap.
According to the letter (X, Y and Z) it is possible to identify the weight strip.
Letter
Weight Strip
X
1625g - 1666g
Y
1667g - 1707g
Z
1708g - 1748g
The difference of weight between all pistons / connecting
rods sets, in the same engine, must be of, at the most,
41g. So, as spare part it is only available the connecting
rod of the letter Y.
