Compass Variance
Your vehicle's compass zone
should be pre-set to the region
where your vehicle was first sold.
If your vehicle is taken outside this
zone, it may be necessary to adjust
the compass to compensate for
variance.
See your dealer to find out what
zone you are in.
To adjust for compass variance:
1. Park the vehicle on a level
surface and apply the parking
brake.
If your vehicle is equipped with
an automatic transmission,
shift into P (Park).
2. Press repeatedly unt
il PRESS TO CHANGE
COMPASS ZONE is displayed.

3. Press repeatedly to select
the correct compass zone.
4. Press repeatedly to select
the correct compass direction.
5. Calibrate the compass.
