Problems on the Road
4. Remove the tire sealant and
compressor kit and place the
kit near the flat tire.

this section, for more
information:

and Compressor Kit
5. Unwrap the clear air/sealant
filling hose and the accessory
plug from the compressor.
For compressor kits not
equipped with a selector
switch, pull the top portion of
the accessory plug cord out
first, and then the bottom
portion. Unsnap the plug from
the compressor to release it.
Do not plug the air
compressor into the accessory
outlet at this time.

6. Remove the valve cap from
the tire valve stem.
7. Make sure the air compressor
is off.
8. Firmly attach the sealant filling
hose to the tire valve stem.
To tighten, turn the end of the
hose clockwise.
9. Disconnect any accessories
plugged into the accessory
power outlets.
10. Plug the air compressor into
the accessory power outlet.
- Note:
Only use the cigarette lighter
outlet to plug in the air
compressor if the vehicle is
not equipped with an
accessory power outlet.
Do not close the doors or
windows on the power cord.
11. Start the engine.
The engine must be running to
avoid draining the battery
while running the air
compressor using battery
power.
CAUTION
Idling the engine inside an
enclosed area such as a garage,
and/or with the climate control
system's fan off, may produce
dangerous exhaust fumes.
12. Turn the selector switch (if
equipped) counterclockwise
to the sealant and air position.
