Instrumentation and Controls
To facilitate hard disc drive naviga-
tion, discs with items identified as
NO INFO can first be converted to
MP3 format with tag information
on a home computer and can then
be recorded to the hard disc drive
from an MP3 disc or USB device.
See the following, later in this
section, for more information:

Discs or USB to the Hard Disc
Drive
Occasionally, the Gracenote Data-
base may contain more than one
match for a recorded CD.
If the database finds more than
one match, the radio will display
MULTIHIT (multiple hits) in place
of the name information when the
songs are selected from the hard
disc drive.

To select the correct name, do the
following:
1. While a MULTIHIT song is
playing, press the push-button
under EDIT to display the list
of matching database results.
2. Rotate the MENU/SELECT
knob to scroll through the list.
3. Press the knob to select the
correct name.

The Gracenote
Database stored
on your hard disc drive can be
updated to include name informa-
tion for newer audio CD releases.
See your dealer for information.

RECORDING FROM MP3/WMA
DISCS OR USB TO THE HARD
DISC DRIVE
While listening to an MP3/WMA
disc or a USB device (excluding
iPod), press REC (record) to begin
recording tracks to the hard disc
drive.
You may choose to record only the
track that is currently playing or all
tracks on the disc or USB device.
Press the push-button under the
desired option.
A status bar appears at the top of
the display while the system is
recording to the hard disc drive.
When the recording process is
complete, the status bar disap-
pears from the display.
