File System and Naming
The displayed song title is taken
from the file's ID3 tag. If a song
title is not present in the ID3 tag,
the radio will display the file name
as the track name.
Track names longer than 32 char-
acters will be shortened.
Playlists
The player will not recognize
preprogrammed playlists stored
on a disc or USB storage device.
However, the player will recognize
playlists created on the hard disc
drive. See "Saving Hard Disc Drive
Favorites" earlier in this section.
PLAYING AN MP3 AUDIO FILE
Insert a disc part-way into the slot,
label side up. The player will pull it
in the rest of the way.
See "CD/DVD Audio Player" earlier
in this section for more informa-
tion.
Use the volume, tone, and speaker
controls just as you do for the
radio. Other controls may have
different functions when a disc is
inserted.
A track number and song title will
appear on the display when each
track starts to play.
Section 1
