Autom atic w iping with ra in sensor 3
To activate, m ov e lever upwards to
automatic wiping with ra in sensor
position $ .
The rain sensor detects the am ount of
water on the windscreen a nd automatically
reg ulates the windscreen wipers.
The w ip ers operate for one cy cle to c heck
the system when the ignition switch is
turned to AC C.
To turn wipers off, move lever to position J.
Keep the rain sensor area clean by
activating the windsc reen washer sy stem.

Wi nd sc reen and head lamp washer
systems 3
To activate, pull lev er towards steering
wheel. Washer fluid is sprayed onto the
wind screen. I f the lever is held longer, the
wipers operate for two cy cles after the lever
ha s b een released and once more a fter a
3 second delay 3.
The head la mp washer system 3 c an only
be operated when the headlam ps are on.
Washer fluid is sprayed onto the
headlamp s. The headlam p washer system
can only be operated aga in after a short
delay . If wa sher fluid level is low then this
delay is increased.
On vehicles fitted w ith ra in sensor 3, keep
the sensor area c lean by activating the
wind screen washer system .

Tail gate wi per and wa sher systems
Activate wipers a nd washer as follow s:
Wipers on = Push lever forwards
Wipers off = Pull lever back towards
steering w heel
Wash = Press and hold button
Washer fluid is spray ed on to ta ilg ate
window when the button on the end of the
lever is pressed . When the button is
released, the wa sher will stop, but the
wipers will continue to swipe for approx .
3 cyc les.
