Autom atic a ir recircula tion
The automatic air recirc ulation sy stem has
an air q uality sensor to detect ha rm ful
amb ient gases, in which case it will switch
automatically to air recirculation mode.
Press a utoma tic a ir recirculation button t;
the system provides the optimum settings
for almost all conditions. C ontrol indicator
in the b utton illuminates when a utomatic
air recirculation is enab led.
Press b utton t a gain to turn autom atic air
recirculation system off; control indicator in
the b utton extinguishes and outside a ir is
drawn into the vehicle.
The system is only operational when the
engine is running.
Automat ic mod e
Basic setting for m aximum comfort:
z Press AUTO button.
z O pen all air vents.
z Set temperature using central rotary
knob.
All air vents are actuated autom atically in
autom atic mode. The a ir vents should
therefore always be open - see p age 105.
The control indica tor in the AUTO button
illuminates when automatic mode has
been selected.
To switch the sy stem off, set fan to x.
Climate control
Temperat ur e p reset
The c entral rota ry knob can be used to set
the temperature; 22 °C , 24 °C a nd 26 °C
app ear on the rotary knob. I ntermed ia te
settings are possible.
The selected tem perature is m ainta ined.
At the low est or highest temp erature
setting, the sy stem works at maximum
cooling or heating.
