Warning
Do not use the system if there are
passengers in the vehic le. The doors
cannot be unlocked from the inside when
the alarm is ac tiv ated.
The remote control unit is used to operate
the a nti-theft a la rm system.
To act ivat e
Always ensure that the doors, bonnet,
tailgate, sun roof 3 and windows are
properly closed and that there a re no
passengers left in the vehic le before
activating a nti-theft ala rm system.
Press button p on rem ote control

Loc k driver's door by turning key in door
lock towards rear of vehicle then turn it
back to the v ertical position a nd remove;
z Hazard w arning lam ps fla sh once,
z All doors are locked ,
z Anti-theft system is a ctiv ated after
approx. 30 seconds.
Confirm tha t the control indicator starts
flashing slowly , after illum inating for
approx. 30 seconds, to show that the anti-
theft sy stem has been activa ted.
If button p is pressed aga in, the anti-theft
alarm system will activate automatically,
bypassing the 30 second dela y.
If the hazard warning lamps do not flash
on a ctivation or the control ind icator
flashes quickly, this may indica te that a
door, the tailgate or the bonnet is not fully
closed.

S witc h on when, for example, animals are
to be left in the vehicle.
1. Close ta ilg ate and bonnet.
2. Press button a in the roof lining.

yellow in the instrument panel.
3. Close d oors.
4. Switch on anti-theft alarm sy stem.
Control indicator for anti-theft alarm
system illuminates. After a 30 second
delay, the sy stem is activa ted without
monitoring of the passenger
compartment or vehicle tilt.
