AIX Without SMIT

When installing the print server in the spooler of an AIX system as a
remote printer, you must enter a print queue, a host name, and a
logical printer into the '/etc/qconfig' file. In this section, manual
installation without using the SMIT Administration Tool is described.
The following entries are required for the installation:
Box in qconfig

rp
User input
Freely definable name for a print
queue
Host name or IP address of the
print server
lp1 to lp8 for the logical printer
Printing via the LPD Protocol
