This manual provides thorough information on the SPA-ZC 400 Ethernet adapter
used for connecting REF 541/3/5, REM 543/5 and RET 541/3/5 Intelligent
Electronic Devices (IED) to IEC 61850 Station bus and the central concepts related
to it. You will find information on SPA-ZC 400 and its components, an introduction
to engineering tasks and a description of the basic operations.
In this manual RE_54_ contains only REF 541/3/5, REM 543/5 and
RET 541/3/5 products.
Information in this manual is intended for application engineers, who install and
configure SPA-ZC 400. As a prerequisite, you should have basic knowledge of
IEC 61850 client and server architectures in general.
