Using a Bluetooth Wireless Headset

The LIP-8040LD may be equipped with the BTU (Blue-tooth Unit) option
that lets you use a Wireless headset that supports Blue-tooth version
1.2. Using a headset you can move freely around the phone within
approximately 10 meters and maintain a conversation. Before using the
headset, the Bluetooth mode must be set, and then the headset must be
"paired" with the BTU. When BT mode, the station cannot be used as
speaker nor wired-headset at the same time.
If BTU is installed and BT headset is paired, BT icon is displayed clearly.
However, if BTU is installed but not paired yet, BT icon is displayed with
a dotted line. When there's no BTU or BT usage is set to OFF, there's no
BT icon.
If you want to use BT headset after adjusting BT option, press [Speaker]
button or press Call start button of BT according to manual of the BT
headset with the handset is on-hook state.
When BT is used for call, the [Speaker] button led lit on and speaker
mode cannot be used.
If you off-hook the handset in BT mode, the voice path is directly
connected to handset. In this way, the call is transferred to handset. Or,
while using handset, press [Speaker] button and on-hook the handset to
transfer the call to BT headset.
When there's incoming ring to the station, station speaker and BT starts
to ring simultaneously. You can answer the call by pressing BT call
button, [Speaker] button or handset.
