    Employing state-of-the-art Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology, voice and data converge on a single IP packet network. Because each iPECS Phone is an IP appliance, it can be moved easily throughout the office LAN and maintain normal operation.

    LIP-8004D User Guide Issue 1 1.5.1 Wiring Connectors The LIP-8004D has a single Ethernet port that is connected to the LAN using a RJ-45 plug terminated category 5 cable supplied with the Phone. A 2 meter (6 foot) cable is provided for desk mount installation.

  • Page 12 2.3 Differential Ring Signals When multiple phones in a small area ring, it can be difficult to tell which are ringing. The LIP-8004D has 8 ring tones available for differentiating one phone’s ringing from another. The tones are stored in the phone permanent memory.
