Chapter 3 Basic Operation — Switching on/off the projector
or higher, turn off the main power, and then turn on the power again.
f If [PROJECTOR SETUP] → [STANDBY MODE] ( x page 78) is set to [ECO] on the menu, there may be a 10 second display lag when the
power is turned on compared to when the setting is [NORMAL].
f If the <MAIN POWER> switch was turned <OFF> during projection the last time that the direct power off function was used, and the <MAIN
POWER> switch is turned <ON> while the main power plug connected to the outlet, the power indicator <ON (G)/STANDBY (R)> will light in
green and the image will soon be projected on the screen.

Making adjustments and selections

It is recommended that images are projected continuously for at least 30 minutes before the focus is adjusted.

Press the <FOCUS> button to roughly adjust
the focus of the image. (x page 45)

Set the projection method using [PROJECTION
METHOD] (x page 75) and [COOLING
CONDITION] (x page 76) on the menu.
f Refer to "Navigating through the menu" ( x page 51) for the
operation of the menu.

Press the input selection (<RGB1>,
<RGB2>, <DVI-D>, <VIDEO>, <S-VIDEO>,
<HDMI>) buttons to select the input signal.

Adjust the front, back and sideway tilt
of the projector with the adjustable feet.

Switching off the projector

Press the power standby <v> button.
f The [POWER OFF(STANDBY)] confirmation screen is
displayed.

f Projection of the image will stop, and the power indicator <ON
(G)/STANDBY (R)> on the projector lights in orange. (The fan
keeps running.)

Press the <SHIFT> button to adjust the
position of the image. (x page 45)
If the input signal is an RGB input signal, press
the <AUTO SETUP> button. (x page 48)
Press the <ZOOM> button to adjust the size of
the image to match the screen. (x page 45)
Press the <FOCUS> button again to adjust the
focus.
Press the <ZOOM> button again to adjust the
zoom and the size of the image to match the
screen.
