Trouble
It is to be desired that the specification of the
paper feed tray of the copier is set to [Auto] at
all times. (Normally, the specification of the
paper feed tray of the driver is reflected.)
It is to be desired that a file name specified
with an argument of the LPR command is dis-
played in the list as a job name. (Normally, a
job name specified with an original or driver is
displayed.)
In the font list display of the Font Management
Utility, the font type of the RAM font is dis-
played as [HDD].
When the Letter Tab size is output as a PDF di-
rect print, a sheet of 9x11 inch size paper is re-
quired by the copier.
When a cover insertion setting is made for Mac
OS 10.5 or later version and an output is made
with a multiple copy specified, no more than
one copy is output.
Even when "-J" is specified for the LPR com-
mand, no banner output is available.
When the IPv6+IPSec communication is made
in the same subnet, it is to be desired that the
operation is made with ICMPv6 not eliminated
from IPSec. (Normally, the operation is made
with ICMPv6 eliminated from IPSec.)
Effect of the switch
(when turned On (1))
The paper feed tray of the copier is set to [Au-
to] at all times. In that case, however, no spec-
ification of the paper feed tray from the printer
driver is also reflected.
A file name specified with an argument of the
LPR command is displayed in the control pan-
el.
In the font list of the Font Management Utility,
the font type of the RAM font is displayed as
[RAM]. However, more time may be required
for the installation of the Postscript font.
An output is made in the Letter Tab size.
When a cover insertion setting is made, the
number of copies can be output as specified.
However, outputting jobs including font data
and the EPS data may cause error pages to be
output.
A banner output is available with "-J" specified
for the LPR command. However, a banner
may be output even for normal printing with no
banner.
It is to be desired that ICMPv6 is not eliminat-
ed from IPSec.
After switching over, the main power is re-
quired to be turned OFF and ON.
