GDDM will not handle the linking of bins. It is up to the user to specify the correct
value according to the printer setup.

Use of 'FORMS' Parameters - S/390 and AS/400

For continuous forms printers with only a single continuous forms paper source,
forms were specified using FORMS parameters in JCL or, for the AS/400, the
FORMTYPE parameter. This method can still be used to have the operator change
to the correct forms for the job. But it cannot be used to cause the printer to switch
between the Front and Rear continuous forms sources.

S/36 Or Advanced System 36 Usage

Continuous Forms Or Combination Forms Feeding
If you are running a System 36 or Advanced System 36, using OCL, with the 4247
configured in this mode (See "Continuous Forms Or Combination Forms Feeding"
on page 362 for the details), you can select the forms paths or Bin 1 of an ASF in
your job. You do not have the capability to select Bins 2 and 3 of the ASF in your
job.
To have your job select the desired forms path, add (or modify) a job control
statement to the print job as shown below. If no job control statement is included
in your job, the default selection will be the front continuous forms path.

Note: DRAWER-3 means 'envelopes' but specifying this parameter will cause ASF Bin 1 to
be selected since that is the only paper source that could contain envelopes.
Automatic Sheet Feeding Only (Compatibility Mode)
With the 4247 configured in this mode (See "Automatic Sheet Feeding Only
(Compatibility Mode)" on page 363 for the details), to have your job select the
desired forms path, add (or modify) a job control statement to the print job as
shown below. If no job control statement is included in your job, the default
selection will be Bin 1 of the ASF.
