The following system LED status indicators are available on the Scalar 50
libraries:
Operator Control Panel (OCP) LED Status
System Controller Board (SCB) LED Status
Interpreting System LED Status
Corrective Action
Ensure that the cleaning cartridge has the
correct barcode label. You must use the correct
label for the cartridge type.
From the OCP, power the tape drive off and
then back on.
If the drive is still logged out, contact Quantum
Technical Support

If drive communication is still lost, contact

Check to see if the tape drive is installed.
If the drive is installed, reseat the tape drive by
removing and reinstalling the drive.
