Chapter 6: IP interface configuration

Setting the VLAN and diffserv parameters

1. Connect to the IPSI and log in as craft.
2. To display the quality of service values, type show qos and press Enter.
3. If necessary, use the following commands to set the VLAN and diffserv parameters to the
recommended values shown.

Use Help to obtain syntax guidelines for these commands.

set vlan priority 6
set diffserv 46
set vlan tag on
set port negotiation 1 disable
set port duplex 1 full
set port speed 1 100
4. Type show qos and press Enter to check the administered values.
5. Type quit and press Enter to exit.

Ensure that the port settings on the Ethernet switches are set to the same values

Resetting the IPSI

1. Connect to the IPSI and log in as craft.
2. Type reset and press Enter and answer Y to the warning.
