Kitting Microchips in Bags of 25
To kit microchips in bags of 25, you need to know the average piece weight of one microchip. Place
the box full of chips on the scale and press the zero key to zero out the weight of the full box of chips.
Next press the "—" key (indicating you are removing pieces) and enter the average piece weight of
one microchip. Press the apw key and remove microchips until the scale reads "25". Then zero the
scale and repeat the process until the desired number of kits has been completed.
Counting Non uniform Plastic Lids with Accuracy Enhancement
Suppose you wish to use a large sample size because your plastic parts are not uniform, but want to
avoid hand counting 100 pieces onto the scale. Start by hand counting 10 parts onto the scale, enter
10 then press the count key. Now add 10 more pieces and press the count key again (the number of
pieces added must be 100% or less of the previous sample weight). Each time the count key is
pressed the scale recalculates the APW using the larger sample, in this case, 20 pieces. Next, add 20
more pieces and press the count key. Repeat this two more times, once adding 40 pieces and then
20 more, pressing the count key after each addition. Note, you do not have to hand count each
addition, the Super Count will do it for you.
