7. The scale displays "SUrE ?." This is a safety device to prevent you from accidentally erasing
the database memory.
Pressing the clear key will NOT erase any IDs and associated values that may have previously
been stored.
Pressing the setup/cal key will PERMANENTLY erase any IDs and associated values that may
have previously been stored.
PROTECTING THE APW/TARE VALUES
The database allows you to add an ID and its associated APW and tare values to the scale's memory
or change any existing values. The existing values may be protected in one of three ways; first only
new ID's may be added and no changes may be made to existing values; second, new ID's may be
added to memory and existing APW and tare values may be changed; third, no new ID's may be
added and existing values may not be changed.
To select the specific protection mode, perform the procedure outlined below:
1. Enter — 16665 and press the setup/cal key.
2. The scale will display "LOCOLD." In this mode the existing IDs and associated APW and tare
values are protected and new IDs may be entered. To select this protection press the setup/
cal key. To select another protection mode press the clear key.
3. The scale will display "NO LOC." In this mode new IDs may be stored in memory and existing
APW and tare values may be changed. To select this protection press the setup/cal key. To
select another protection mode press the clear key.
4. The scale will display "LOC AL." In this mode new IDs may not be entered and existing APW
and tare values may not be changed. To select this protection press the setup/cal key. To exit
this setup without making any changes press clear.
The factory default for this setup is "LOCOLD", which protects existing IDs and allows new IDs to be
stored.
COUNT/WEIGHT ACCUMULATE BY ID SETUP
This setup should be performed to enable the "accumulate by ID feature". The factory default for this
setup is disabled.
To enable accumulate by ID, follow the procedure below.
1. Enter —21109 and press the setup/cal key.
2. The scale will display "Id ACCUM on".
3. Press the setup/cal key to enable accumulation by ID and resume normal operation. All data
stored for the ID accumulate and ID database features will be erased.
4. Press the clear key and the scale will display "Id ACCUM oFF".
5. Press the setup/cal key to disable accumulation by ID or press the clear key to exit this proce-
dure without changing the setting of this mode.
