Serial/Telnet User Interface
Serial UI Access
To open a serial session, a terminal emulator utility is required.
From most Windows 9x, Windows NT, and Windows 2000 systems, a
HyperTerminal session can be started using the following steps:
1. From the Windows Start Menu, open HyperTerminal.
2. Name the new terminal session.
3. Indicate the appropriate COM port.
4. Configure the serial port settings, as listed in
Table 7: Serial Port Configuration
