Problem
You cannot estab-

Possible cause
You are outside the
range of the device.
You have deactivated
the SSID broadcast
option which means
that the Gigaset
SE365 WLAN does
not appear in the net-
work overview.
Encryption of the
transmitted data has
been activated on
your Gigaset SE365
WLAN
(WEP / WPA).
The MAC filter on
your Gigaset SE365
WLAN has been acti-
vated, but your PC's
MAC address has not
been entered (Access
point operating
mode).
The wireless network
adapter is not using
the correct SSID.
You set the SSID and
encryption manually
and WPS registration
was then performed.
The registration but-
ton is deactivated.
Remedy
ì
Reduce the distance to the Gigaset
SE365 WLAN. Align the aerials of
the devices involved in transmission
for the best possible range.
ì
Manually enter the SSID of the
Gigaset SE365 WLAN for your wire-
less network adapter to set up the
connection.
ì
Apply the encryption settings to
your wireless network adapter as
well.
ì
From another PC, enter the relevant
MAC address in the table to permit
access (see page 58). Try using an
Ethernet cable to connect a PC to
the Gigaset SE365 WLAN.
ì
Change the SSID on the network
adapter or use the WPS function.
ì
Check which SSID and pre-shared
key are used and configure the
WLAN clients accordingly.
ì
Activate the registration button (see
page 66).
