Wireless Network

If PCs are communicating wirelessly via the Gigaset SE365 WLAN, you should also take
steps to enhance the security of your wireless network.
The Gigaset SE365 WLAN wireless network is preset as active. Your device can only com-
municate with your wireless network if this default setting is left as is. If you do not want
to use this function, you can deactivate the Wireless Network option.

activate and configure WPS (see page 52),

set Encryption for wireless traffic (see page 53),
In Repeater or Access point operating mode you can also

limit access to the wireless network (see page 58),
In Repeater operating mode you can also

configure the repeater function (see page 60).

In the Advanced Settings menu, select Wireless Network.
SSID
Before the wireless network components can communicate with each other, they must
have the same SSID (Service Set Identifier).
