Maintenance and Trouble-Shooting
Problem
The document was not fed cor-
rectly or the other location can-
not process the size.
The 1st paper cassette has run
out of paper.
The 2nd paper cassette has run
out of paper.
All paper cassettes have run out
of paper.
The machine is running out of
toner.
The drum cartridge is used up.
If error messages are displayed
that are not described here, a
machine malfunction has oc-
cured.
During scanning in memory
mode the capacity of the memo-
ry was exceeded.
The original is jammed inside the
machine.
The cover of the flatbed scanner
is not closed properly.
The front cover is not closed
properly.
The 1st cassette is not closed
properly.
The 2nd cassette is not closed
properly.
Solution
Place the document again and
begin the transmission again.
Refill the cassette.
Refill the cassette.
Refill the cassettes.
Replace the toner cartridge as
soon as possible.
Replace the drum cartridge as
soon as possible.
Call the technical service.

es of the actual process. (The
pages of other processes will re-
