Manual Reception

Tel Ready Mode

Basically manual reception only makes sense if you are expecting voice
calls on the same line. You should keep this in mind when you set the re-
ception mode. As the machine is not equipped with a telephone receiver,
a separate phone must be attached to the wall outlet of the telephone line.
Only then the manual reception mode is available. To receive incoming
call manually independently of the set reception mode, answer the call by
phone and then press
phone. Make sure the answer LED is not lit. In case it is lit, press

Tel/Fax ready Mode (Operation with a Telephone)

The machine operates together with a telephone in the same wall outlet.
For further information please contact your dealer. Your fax machine will
answer calls after a set number of rings. Make sure the answer LED is lit.
