Connecting the Fax Machine to Your Computer

Turn off the computer and pull the
plug of your fax machine.
Plug the interface cable into the ap-
propriate terminals on the back of
the machine.

Connect the other end of the cable
to your computer's parallel port.

Plug in the computer and the fax machine.

Install the driver on your computer according to the manufacturer's in-
structions.

Fax Operation with Your Computer

This function allows you to send documents that you have created on your
computer without printing them first. Also, faxes can be sent directly to
your computer for editing. The fax will not have to be scanned separately.
Please refer to the software manual for further information. If you have no
software, use the software enclosed with the interface.(Recomented fax
software LaserFAX 3.5)
