If a document jams in the ADF
the following message appears
in the display.
If you press
documents will remain in the
memory and can be sent.
If you press
scanned pages will be deleted
and the machine returns to
standby mode.
Follow the procedure below to remove a document jam.
1
Open the ADF cover and remove
the jammed document.
2
If the document cannot be removed,
open the inner cover of the ADF and
then remove the document.
Note
If the document is wrinkled, place it in the flatbed scanner to scan it
again.
