Polling Transmission
You can use this function to transmit documents automatically. The
recipient can retrieve the document on demand. The document can even
consist of several pages.
Insert the document into the ADF in order to scan it.
If one or more documents are to be polled from memory, the remote fax
machine must have an identical ID function (Elaborated T-30 protocol).
For all other callers: the caller establishes the communication line by
telephone, waits for the first pause after the "handshake" and enters the
four digit ID code in the tone dialling system. Your Di 150f acknowledges
the code and begins immediately with the polling transmission. The
recipient initiates the transmission by pressing
Polling transmission are possible in regular mode and from database. In
regular mode any machine of the same type can poll documents. In
Database polls the receiver must know the number of the files to be polled.
Up to 10 different documents can be stored.
Adjust contrast and resolution if necessary. Make sure the answer LED is
lit.
