Loading the Mount Films
Load the Film Guide without the Film Strip Frame on the Platen Glass, and then mount the mount films
in the Film Guide. To scan the mount films with a computer, follow the same procedure below.
1.
Remove the Film Guide from the FAU Protective Sheet.
Open the Document Cover, and remove the FAU Protective Sheet.

Turn over the FAU Protective Sheet, then raise slightly the center of the Film

Guide. Pull the Film Guide towards you to remove it, holding it high enough so
that it does not strike the fixing knobs (A).
Important
When printing photos from the mount films, make sure that the FAU Protective Sheet is
removed from the Document Cover. The mount films cannot be scanned if the FAU
Protective Sheet remains attached.
2.
Remove the Film Strip Frame (B) from the Film Guide (C).
Pinch the indentations (D) in the directions of the arrows as shown to open the

Pinch the indentations (F) in the directions of the arrows as shown to remove the
