TOC PARTITION

Command:
TOC PARTITION {<nPar ID>} [:<vPar ID>]} [OVERRIDE]
Description:
Performs a transfer-of-control reset of the specified nPartition or virtual partition.
The OVERRIDE argument TOC resets all virtual partitions on the specified nPartition.
Access level/Bay level:
OA Administrator, OA Operator
Restriction:
You must be connected to the monarch OA.

PARDEFAULT

Command:
pardefault [–t target_os]
Description:
Changes the current default values of certain generic nPartition attributes or attributes specific
to an OS type.
Pardefault without any options will display the original and current default settings.
Pardefault with only –t option will display the original and current default settings for
the target_os.
The options for the command:
Option
[-t target_os]
[-O osname]
[-L slm_value]
[–O osname]
[–L slm_value]
[–G memtype:size]
[–T hyper_thread_flag]
[–V flag]
[-R target_os]
Meaning
Specify the OS type for which the default has to be
changed. Valid strings for target_os are same as that
for parcreate command The defaults specified using the
remaining options (except –O) of this command will be
applied to any nPartition created subsequently with this
OS type. If the -t option is not specified, the default
value is changed for all subsequently created nPartitions
independent of the OS type. The –t and –O options
are mutually exclusive.
Specify the value for OS type that needs to be the
default OS type when nPartitions are created. This is
applied to any subsequent nPartition that is created. The
–t and –O options are mutually exclusive. Note that –t
is used as a target OS type for which the defaults are
to be set whereas –O is used to set the default OS type
to be used when any partition is created.
Specifies the default value for the amount of
non-interleaved memory per socket for all blades in an
nPartition.
