PARREMOVE

Command:
parremove
{-p nPartitionId }
[-F]
[-Z [parspecname]]
Description:
Deletes a partition on a local or remote complex. If the partition is active, you must shut down
the OS after executing parremove. All cells and I/O chassis that had been assigned to the
nPartition become free resources available for assignment to other nPartitions.
The options for the command:

Command:
parstatus
parstatus {-C }
[-A]
[-M]
parstatus {-E}
[-M]
parstatus {-I}
Meaning
The partition to remove. The nPartition id can be specified
as an nPartition number or an nPartition name.
Forcibly remove a partition.
This option is required in the following instances:
You are removing your own local partition.
You have vPars defined (active or inactive) in your
nPartition independent of the mode (nPars or vPars)
in which the nPartition is.
Removes the current parspec associated with the nPar. If
a parspecname is specified along with –z, the specified
parspec is removed. If you attempt to remove a current
parspec, an error is returned.
IMPORTANT:
–z parspecname and –p are mutually
exclusive options.
