UNASSIGN PARTITION

Command:
UNASSIGN PARTITION { ALL | <nPartition Number>[:<vPartition Number>] [ , <nPartition Number:<vPartition
Number> ] } { "<user name>" | LDAP GROUP "<LDAP group name>" }
Description:
Unassign all or enumerated partition privilege rights to an existing user or group.
Access level/Bay level:
OA Administrator
Restriction:
You must be connected to the monarch OA.

PARCREATE

Command:
parcreate
Description:
Creates a new nPartition on the local complex. The command takes the specified blades and
I/O bays and assigns them to the new nPartition. If an nPartition number is not specified, the
command finds an available nPartition number and assigns it to the new nPartition. If an
nPartition name is not specified, a default name of the format nParNNNN is given to the new
nPartition (where NNNN is a 4 digit nPartition number).

Meaning
Specify blade(s) to be assigned to the nPartition.
Specify blade or I/O resource for the nPartition. An
nPartition can be created without assigning any
resources to it.
Specify that the new nPartition be booted. The nPartition
is booted until the UEFI prompt.
