12-6 PROCESS Screen
Item
MASTER
Adjusts the pedestal level (master black), which is the reference of black.
BLACK
• To increase the pedestal level ..... Increase the number. (UP)
• To decrease the pedestal level .... Decrease the number. (DOWN)
DETAIL
Adjusts the detail enhancement level.
• To sharpen details ....................... Increase the number. (UP)
• To soften details ........................... Decrease the number. (DOWN)
DTL. V/H
Sets the direction, horizontal (H) or vertical (V), in which stronger detail
BAL
enhancement is applied.
To strengthen the H enhancement ... .. Increase the number (UP).
To weaken the H enhancement ... ...... Decrease the number (DOWN).
Note:
• Strengthening the V enhancement does not change.
• While the LOLUX function is operating, the setting value is fixed at
NORMAL and "FIX" is displayed.
Varies the detail enhancement level by changing the detail enhancement
DTL.

FREQUENCY
HIGH ............. Applies strong detail enhancement.
MIDDLE ........ Applies medium detail enhancement.
LOW .............. Applies weak detail enhancement.
Note:
While the LOLUX function is operating, the setting value is fixed at
MIDDLE and "FIX" is displayed.
Sets the Skin Detail function to ON or OFF.
SKIN DTL
ON ................ Skin Detail function activated.
DETECT
OFF ............... Skin Detail function not activated.

Increases the vertical resolution.
V.
• NORMAL .... Vertical resolution 380 lines.
RESOLUTION
• V.MAX ......... Vertical resolution 450 lines
(The sensitivity is degraded and the bright sections may be colored
depending on the subject.)
Sets the signal level where KNEE function takes effect (knee point), when
KNEE
AUTO KNEE function is set to OFF.
