(1) Thread take-up spring (purl stitch)
) The thread take-up amount of thread take-up sprng
1 s 8 to 0 mm, and the approprate pressure at
the start s approxmately 0.06 to 0.N.
2) To change the stroke of the thread take-up
sprng, loosen screw 2 , nsert a thn screwdrver
nto the slot of thread tenson post 3 , and turn t.
3) To change the pressure of the thread take-up
sprng, nsert a thn screwdrver nto the slot of
thread tenson post 3 whle screw 2 s tghtened,
and turn t. Turnng t clockwse wll ncrease the
pressure of the thread take-up sprng.
Turnng t counterclockwse wll decrease the
pressure.
(2) Adjusting the thread take-up amount of the
thread take-up lever
The thread take-up amount of the thread take-up
lever should be adjusted n accordance wth the
thckness of the sewng products so as to obtan
well-tghtened sttches.
a. For heavy-weght materals, loosen setscrew 2
n thread gude 1 , and move the thread gude to
the left. The thread take-up amount of the thread
take-up lever wll be ncreased.
b. For lght-weght materals, move thread gude 1
to the rght. The thread take-up amount of the
thread take-up lever wll be reduced.
