(electronic thread-tension-control system) • Needle thread tension for sewing parallel and bartacking sections of buttonholes can be separately controlled through the operation panel and stored in memory according to various sewing conditions (e.g., type of thread, type of material and sewing speed).
  • Page 3 HIGHER FLEXIBILITY Many different buttonhole shapes can be selected on the operation panel. The machine is provided as standard with seven different stitching shapes. • New buttonholing shapes are added. The machine is now able to sew buttonholes with radial tacks and those with larger-pitch tacks to offer handstitch-like appearance.

  • Page 5 LBH-1700 with an auto-lifter. The auto-lifter allows a single pedal switch to be used not only for moving the work clamp up and down, but also for starting the machine. This makes operation more comfortable by reducing the operator's fatigue. Two types of auto-lifter are available: the magnet-driven (B type) and the air-driven (C type).
