3. Adjusting the presser bar pressure

lowing work after turning the power off and ascertaining that the motor is at rest.

To adjust the pressure appled by the presser bar
to fabrc, turn presser sprng regulator 1 . When the
pressure s not enough to prevent fabrc from puck-
erng, turn regulator 1 clockwse.
Loosen nut 1 and adjust the poston wth stopper
sprng 2 so that the dstance from the front end of
machne bed to bobbn presser 3 s 8 to 5 mm
when the sewng machne stops. Then tghten nut 2 .
