Connect
as Shown
Connect the AUDIO OUTPUTS
SURROUND
jack to
the MONO jack on the stereo amplifier.
If desired,
you can connect one set of surround
speak-
ers to the TV and another
set of surround
speakers
to
an amplifier
that is connected
to the TV.
Operation
Select Normal
or Phantom
prologic,
or Matrix, Hall, or
Stadium
surround
as described on pages 24-25. Set the
surround
sound
volume to mid-range
with the Rear
Volume in the Audio Setup menu of the mode you
selected.
Adjust the amplifier
so the surround
sound
is at a normal listening
level.

3. Connect
as Shown
Connect AUDIO OUTPUTS
CENTER to the MONO
input jack on the stereo amplifier.
If your amplifier
does not have a MONO jack, you may need a Y-
adapter
to hear sound from both channels.
4.
Operation
Select Dolby3 or Normal
Prologic in the audio mode
menu as described on pages 27-28.
Adjust the volume of center sound in the Dolby3 or
Normal
Prologic setup menus as shown on pages 27-28.
