Autoprogramming and Editing the Channel Scan list
Place channels in the channel scan list
(Autoprogram).
Only channels 2M3 appear in the TV's channel scan list when you first
turn it on. The channels available in your area must be programmed
into the Channel Scan list. Using GHANNEL up or down allows you to
scan through these channels.
You may want to add or delete a few channels if some stations have
weak signals or were off the air when the TV was programmed.
A. Hook up an antenna or cable before you begin these steps or you
will not be able to add channels into the channel scan list.
B. Press "IV to set the remote to control the TV.
C. Press MENU to bring up the main menu.
D. Highlight Installation using the up and down arrows on the remote.
These arrows are also shown on the screen.
E. Press 8 to select the Installation menu.
F. Highlight Autoprogram.
G. Press 8 to select Autoprogram and start the TV adding channels to
memory.
H. Wait until the TV has finished adding channels by checking the
Antennas. The TV will then tune to the lowest channel found.
Editing channels in the Scan lists.
Follow the steps below to add or delete channels if station signals were
weak or off the air when you autoprogrammed the TV. You can place
channels in normal, favorite or parental control scan lists when you
edit channels.
You can select normal or favorite channels to use in the scan lists shown
on Lhe next page. Full is for channels that will appear in the normal
scan list.
Wh,en you place channels in the parental control list, you will only be
able to see them if you enter the channel number with the number
buttons on the master remote. This is useful if you have channels you
don't want your children to watch. These channels; can not be accessed
with the small remote or with the controls on the front of the TV.
A. Press "IV to set the remote to control the TV.

Highlight Edit Scan list. Press 8 to select Edit Scan List.
Use the arrows to move left, right, up and down to highlight items.
Press the 8 button to select and unselect items. An item is selected if
it has a yellow check mark in front of it.
E. Press 3 to exit when complete.
