Setting
the Sleep,
Event,
or Display
Timer
You can set your TV to turn itself off at a specific time. If you're
watching
TV at night and fall asleep, the TV will turn off for you.
Set
Sleep
Timer.
A. Press "IV to set the remote to control the TV.
B. Press MENU to bring up the main menu.
C. Highlight
Clocks and Timers using the up and clown arrows
on the
_:emote. These arrows ;are also shown on the screen.
D. Press 8 to select the Clocks and Timers menu.
E. J_ghlight
Sleep Timer.
F. Press 8 to select Sleep Timer.
G. Enter the amount of time using the remote's number
buttons.
If you
enter a wrong number,
use the GLEAF{button to erase the number.
Then enter the new number.
H. Press 3 to exit.
Change
or add the time
amount.
A. Follow steps A-F to enter a new time.
B. Enter the amount
of time using the remote's
number
buttons.
C. Press 3 to exit.
Set
the
Event
Timer
or Display
Time.
If you set the Event timer,, the TV will notify you after a specified
amount of time has elapsed by displaying
the time and the TV status
on-screen.
An hourglass
will also appear with the TV status dispay.
If you set the Display time, the TV will repeatedly
notifiy you at specific
time intervals by displaying
the time and TV status on-screen.
Follow the steps below to set one or both of these features.
A. Press -IV to ,.setthe remote to control the TV.
B. Press MENU to bring up the main menu.
C. Highlight
Clocks and Timers using the up and down arrows
on the
remote.
These arrows
are also shown on the screen.
D. Press 8 to select the Clocks and Timers menu.
E. Highlight
the timer you want to set. Press 8 to select the timer.
F. Use the number
buttons
to enter the time.
G. Press 3 to exit.
